Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn

Sand Dunes Pool.  Click the photo to visit their website.  Beautiful new adult green house area with pools and hot tubs.

CANO'S CASTLE.  As you pull into Antonito heading south on 285 be sure to look over to your left and you'll surely spot the castle spires.  Built by native american Vietnam vet Don Espinoza a.k.a. Cano.  The structure consists mainly of beer cans and metal junk and according to Cano was inspired by Vitamin Mary Jane and Jesus.

The CUMBRES AND TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD is located directly behind our building.  Certainly walking distance.  We offer train riders a $10.00 discount on their room.  Click the photo and check their website for schedule and fares.  My husband and I have done this twice in the two years we've been here and we assure you it should be on everyone's bucket list.  Kids ride free in the summer and they well dig it trust us!

CUMBRES ADVENTURE TOURS offers ATV and snowmobiling tours.  Click the photo and check out their website for reservations and a price list.

World Class hunting and fishing in the Conejos Canyon.  Minutes drive from the Inn.

DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE.  Holy cow do we have scenery.  If you're a biker even better.  Make sure you check our Facebook page for biker discount offers.  It is absolutely beautiful in our neck of the woods.  Just spend the day exploring.  It's sunny 330 days a year here and rains minimally, perfect for a motorcycle tour.

ECHO CANYON RIVER EXPEDITIONS!  One of our favorite places.  It's a drive from our location, about 3 hours north, but worth a scheduled stop in your vacation.  Located in Canyon City just west of Colorado Springs.  This is a top notch, professional outfit.  We took our son and nephew last year and it was a total blast.  We will be taking anyone who wants to go in the future!

The Great Sand Dunes National Park

Located approximately 40 minutes from the Inn, the dunes are the highest in the country and constantly change due to winds.  Zappata Falls is a half a mile hike and worth every step.  The Dunes sit at the foot of Mt. Blanca, a fourteen thousand foot beauty.  There is a visitor center and the deer hang out in the parking lot.
